Marivento
Marivento's whitewashed terraces stepping down the cliff to an infinity pool above the sea

Praiano · Amalfi Coast · Since 1782

A 24-room villa hotel carved into the cliffs, with terraces of lemons, a pool on the edge of the sea and a boat at the jetty.

Benvenuti

Twenty-four rooms, three terraces and one view. Marivento has been a home on this cliff for over two centuries, and we still run it like one.

Dining at Lume

Our terrace restaurant cooks with what grows on the cliff and what the boats bring in each morning. Lemons, tomatoes and herbs come from the hotel garden twenty steps from the kitchen.

Sale Spa

Sale means salt. Our spa is carved into the limestone beneath the hotel, with a still pool that opens onto the sea. Rituals use sea salt, Amalfi lemons and local olive oil.

“Small, quiet and impossibly beautiful. Dinner at Lume on the terrace is worth the trip alone.”

Our story

Built by a lemon merchant in 1782, opened to travellers by Nonna Rosa in 1954 and carefully restored by her grandchildren. Every majolica tile and fresco is original.
